And did not come away with any meds :(

He said he couldn't prescribe them himself and had referred me to the paediatric team at the hospital. She was throwing a paddy while we were there at least so he believed me this time.

I was really hoping he would give me the other reflux meds.

Bollocks. Who knows how long it's going to be for them to see us :(

thats pants hun, id go back up next week (if shes still the same) and id let them know your at breaking point!! you cant wait weeks or months its not fair on anyone :(

He's written to them. :( its gonna be ages

Thats shit! Scuse my French

My doctor seen how bad H was and sent us to the hospital as an emergency!

H was refusing food and not gaining weight quite so quick so that may have been why.

Does the doctor know she is refusing milk? X

if things get that bad go to a& e. I know its not ideal but we did it and saw a pediatrician and then we have a follow up next tuesday. xxx

I told him that yes. She's improved a bit today on that front though (didn't tell him that).

Definitely go to a & e if things don't improve - that way you might get an appt with paediatrics sooner. Blooming Drs... :-(

I'd go to a&e too. It'll not do either of you any good to wait weeks. Georgia got given ranitadine today. Xxx

Go to a & e that's how I got m prescribed it was worth the 2 hour wait she was so much better

At least they got to see her like that, kids are normally right as rain as soon as you get to the docs. Go to a&e when she's bad hun.

 xxxxxxxxxx

I'd say go to a&e if it gets unbearable. However don't lose faith in getting an appointment as the hospital

We got referred to the ENT doctor before we were discharged last week Willard we've already had letter thru for the appointment for next
Monday. So basically a week. That's because he's a baby as I rang to try and change the time but she said they couldn't cos they'd dotted on him being a young baby.
God know how we're going to get there for 9.10am though!?

She's been a little more settled today. We've had a couple of periods of sleep and more awake-but-not-crying time.

She's not right though.

And we've had a bad vomiting session today as well.

Kids outpatients appointments have a much shorter wait than adult ones but even still can you really be expected to wait even a couple of weeks??? Try another gp or go to a&e as others have said.
