Finlay slept through last night for the first time ever - 11pm to 6:30am!! I'm soo happy, i just hope it wasnt a one-off!

Only annoying thing is it was my first night off - i'd expressed enough milk for Dan to do the night, so now he thinks i've been making a fuss and its actually dead easy!

Just to update - his sleeping through only lasted 4 nights!! I haven't knowingly changed his routine either, its so annoying, thought we'd cracked it!!

He's back to waking up about 4am now and won't go back to sleep afterwards, the little tinker!

*yawns* :(

Izzy is he getting enough feed during the day? Since Ellie dropped the 4am ish feed (at just under 8 weeks) she has only woken up once since (so far) demanding a feed at that sort of time and that was when we were out shopping on the afternoon and didn't feed well. She kept getting distracted and upset by being in a different environment I think. I have been working on that since, but I realised afterwards that was why she woke.

I don't know if you are BF or bottle - maybe up the frequency if you are BF (or give an extra feed during the early evening). Maybe increase the amounts if you are bottle feeding.

Yes that makes sense actually, well i'll try giving an extra evening feed (im breastfeeding)

will let you know if theres any improvements!

Good luck - I give Ellie an extra feed between 4:30 and 7:30 (her bedtime feed), as I found she couldn't go 3 hours in the evening between feeds. Last night Ellie woke demanding a feed at 3:30am and I have no idea why except perhaps she is ready for solids but she is too young for that....

Hi

Good luck hun... at least you got a few nights with extra sleep
