u should do a first response test as u don't need to do them in the morning i did mine in the evening when i was 5 days late and it showed straight away

If you are a week late then it shouldn't matter if you use fmu - the hormone levels will be large enough all the time to show up on tests. Your symptoms - esp being a week late sound promising! Really hope that you get your bfp!!!!
