Weird result on superdrug

Took a superdrug test this morning. It's supposed to show a vertical line in the control window, and (if you're pregnant) a vertical line in the test window.

Immediately after testing I got a horizontal line in the test window, and a vertical line in control window....WTF?!

What does it mean?! There is no mention in the instructions of horizontal lines or crosses.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this?

Maybe it's a dodgy test.
I'd have to retest with another brand to be sure.

Thanks, I'm kind if assuming it was either faulty or an evap (although it came up within seconds then gradually faded)

Was v confusing cuz I thought 'a line is a line !' Then there was no line , lol

I just Googled this and it seems to have happened to quite a few ladies. It seems to be an evap line. Maybe try a different test. Fingers crossed for you. x
