Just a question so I know if I am normal or not! I have gained 6lb since finding out Im expecting - adding a lb a week to that for the next 24weeks, I will gain 30lb!!!! Is this normal or too much? xx

From the NHS website:

It depends on your weight before you become pregnant.
Weight gain in pregnancy varies greatly. Most pregnant women gain between 8kg and 14kg (17.5lb to 30lb), putting most of the weight on after week 20.

Totally normal. There isn't official UK guidance but the NICE guideline (used by NHS) mention US guidelines which say you should gain 25-35lbs in total if you start normal weight. I've gained 1st 2lb by week 24, which is apparently normal, although it feels like it should be alot. Everyone is different, as long as you and baby are okay, doesn't matter.
