I'm 31+5, is it normal to wee 600 times a day at this stage?

No, in all seriousness I'm peeing every 20/30 minutes (every hour during the night). I cannot physically hold it either. My ass sank into the sofa cushions earlier and I couldn't physically get up and ended up wetting myself, MORTIFYING!!!

I did a wee about 2 minutes ago and already my bladder feels full....I haven't even drank anything. I'm in bed attempting to sleep, this is not ideal at all. Are we all experiencing this or is my son just being a pain in the butt and laying on my bladder or something.

Most likely gonna wet the bed tonight xx

Haha! Yep it is normal I would go to to the toilet then straight after would feel like I needed to go again & again & again

Different for everybody though and apparently after birth you may not experience for a while the feeling of when your wanting to go pee so get doing pelvic exercises! I never suffered with losing that feeling though thankfully

Iv never heard of that before & luckily it never happened to me hahaha!!
Im up every other hour during the night. I dont even need to look at the clock to see what time it is cause i can predict it. Such a pain in the arse. Im strangely not too bad during the day. But when i feel the need to go i need to go sttaight away or i feel as Tho i am going to wee myself - i sometimes get there and its just a wee dribble LOL. So annoying when you pee and straight after you feel as tho you could go again. It rarely feels as tho my bladder is fully empty! Xx

It is what I was asked when the midwives first came to visit me after I came home from the holiday, she asked me if I still felt the feeling of when I need to go to the toilet & I must have looked at her blankly & she said it is quite common to lose the feeling of knowing when you need to go pee which is why doing pelvic exercises is so important apparently! I did get a strange feeling down their for a little bit but I did need stitches but it wasn't anything to do with them as I was never sore with them thankfully I couldn't explain what it was but it was strange even the midwife couldn't tell me what it was.

When I was towards the end of my pregnancy I felt like I could pee for England I would go then I would need to go again and each time it would feel like I was about to wet myself but only a little dribble would come out!

If you feel like you're not emptying your bladder properly, try leaning forwards while you pee. I can't remember exactly why it works, but it always helped me squeezed a bit more out! I hated literally getting up off the loo and feeling like I could go again. Definitely do not miss being pregnant right now!!

Pee till your done, stand up, bounce a bit, rock hips/pelvis forward and back then pee again, yourll be surprised ypu can ho a bit more!! Bladder just doesn 't empty fully with baby bouncing on it!

Oh and don't worry, Roman my youngest didn't wake me till 5 am today , not 2am or 4 am ( i was on the sofa) and half asleep and so i raced upstairs and couldn't unbutton jeans fast enougth!! Mortified to find my jeans really wet !!! Hmmm

Oh we're so glamorous JJ!!

Thanks for the tips girls xx

i wee every hour or 2 during the day but at night - right upto about 39 weeks i wasnt even waking for a wee. It varies but i have he bladder of an ox apparently!

but yes as baby grows and pushes on your bladder it becomes harder to go longer periods of times.

Have you been doing your pelvic floor exercises?

I do my pelvic floor exercises without even realising. Because I'm a dancer I just do them naturally, so I have fantastic pelvic floor muscles (or I should, totally jinxed myself now) xx

ha- id rather wee every 10 misn than have this heartburn constantly - its so much worse than i ever remember it being!

I feel your pain. My heartburn was so bad I was vomiting because of it. Doctor gave me ranitidine and haven't suffered since xx

Lulu I was exactly the same ,y heartburn was shocking that I would vomit I once slept on the bathroom floor it was that bad! My little boy came out with a head full of dark hair lol

Wow really? I wonder if Henry will have loads of hair then. Will keep you informed haha xx

Haha! All babies are different but so far when I've seen anyone say they have had bad heartburn more times than not there babies have come out with a head full of hair! Until my baby came out with a head full I wouldn't have believed it being possible I assumed that newborns didn't have hair how naive am I ha.

Aaaw I must have missed the announcement you were having a boy, congratulations! Love the name Henry wasn't a name I even thought about when I was considering boys names but Harry was but I love Henry!

I'm really intrigued to know whether he does have hair. Aw thank you hun, he's named after my grandad xx

I only knew he had hair because I had a growth scan @ 38 weeks as I was transferring my care (didn't need the scan for any medical reasons but they insisted on me having one) & I could see his hair on the scan it was amazing! I wasn't quite expecting him to have as much hair as he came out with though!

Aaaw bet your granddad is so proud, one of my little boys middle name is his granddad name

I have weed 4 times since hubby got home just after 6 and now I need to go again! Not just you!

I'm having a growth scan at 34 weeks, I wonder if I'll be able to tell. I'll have to let you know if I see any.

Aw yeah he got quite emotional actually. He's Henry Blair. Henry after my grandad and Blair after my brother. Really honouring the men in my family haha xx
