Weddings & Men

It's disgraceful and given that it happened so soon after the Boston Marathon bombings, I can imagine those involved in the evacuation were terrified. Not funny in my opinion. Stupid and selfish.

Yes clearly it is a shitty thing to do but sometimes it's healthier to laugh off the stupidities of the world than get worked up over them.

Never mind.

I know what you mean. But there was a bomb scare when I was down in London once and I'll admit I was absolutely sh1tting myself! The fact he did something so stupid is laughable, but I can't help thinking about the people who were there at the time. What an idiot. He has a very forgiving other half though!

I thought it was quite amusing, but yeah his timing wasn't brilliant was it lol! It's kinda sweet in a way that he was willing to go to that extreme so as he didn't have to disappoint her!

Eeek that must have been scary for you! It's horrible and terrifying when that happens.

I think for me, I live in London and have done all my life and when the 7/7 bombings happened I was at the British Library on a student summer placement and one of the bombs went off at Kings Cross which was a couple of blocks away. That happened 20 mins after i had got into work. Obviously I was terrified and when we got the all clear to leave to go home I had to walk about 8 miles. However my point is that whenever I go to work now I get the tube or a bus, the thought of a bomb is always in the back of my mind - even more so now I have a baby. Hearing stories like this makes me almost relieved that not all scares are genuine threats, I know it sounds odd but if I don't think like that Id probably be too scared to move. I found the fact he was more scared about telling his fiancé he'd forgotten than the prospect of jail the funny part.

Obviously posting about something like this is a bit silly so I apologise for offending anyone !
Xxx

I'm sorry for flying off into a massive rage. It wasn't directed at you - more at him for being so stupid. Made a hoax bomb call because he didn't have the balls to admit his mistake to his wife-to-be?! WFT?! Grow a pair!!!

Lol I saw that on telly this morning and I must admit after gasping in disbelief I did let out a chuckle. But I guess being from Belfast, bomb scares probably arent as scary to me as they are to most other people. An actual bomb on the other hand would be a different story lol x

Tapatalking :-)
