Weaning

I know Ash is just about 4 months but I was wondering when everone started weaning? Everywhere is saying not untill 6 months but he is already watching us intently when we are eating and kicking up a fuss, I cant see him lasting until then!

Seren was 19 weeks when she first tried baby rice but wasn't ready for it (I saw all the signs but she wasn't overly fussed). The 6 months is a guide, the advice is to try and get to that but if not do not wean before 17 weeks as their little body's are not developed enough and it can lead to kidney problems, obesity etc. i just let Seren feed more til she was about 22 weeks, and we are now on 2 meals a day.
