Could somebody please help me with this. Ellie is 23 weeks and i have been giving her baby rice for 2 days, then sweet potato puree as advised by hv but she said only 1-2 tsp whereas the annabel karmel says 1-2 tbsp during first tastes. Surely Ellie would reject the food if she had enough instead of wanting more which she did with the sweet potato puree. Which is correct??:eh: i'm just using the first tastes, first week until she is 26 weeks. I am finding some information contradictory and strange

I found a lot of the advice contradictory too and in the end decided I would let LO decide how much he wanted to eat. LO will usually refuse food if they do not want any more but if they dont, just trust your instinct as far as how much you think is too much. They will sometimes take a little more than they need and then be sick a little so just up the quantities slowly, giving an extra spoon or 2 each day and you'll soon work out how much is right for your LO. Let LO guide you because every child is different. Good luck :)

iv been wordering about this too

also when they say 2 spoons what size spoon?

I have been giving her the food right before her bottle so if i let her keep eatin surely she will cos she will be hungry for her bottle? or does she know the dfference between bottle and dinner
