Anyone else suffering with this?

My midwife warned me to do PVM excercises whilst pregnant, and I did do some but figured as mine was pretty strong I'd be okay....how wrong was I?! I can barely tense my PVM anymore, and I go red in the face when I do my excercises (still not as often as I should but I'm TRYING to remember!!!)

I've also had a few accidents  when I need a wee I have to go, like, NOW as I have difficulty holding it in. I've not full on weed myself but I've had a few leakages

I'm trying to incorporate my PVM excercises into my daily routine; for example I do them whilst giving Isla her bottle, otherwise I'd never remember to do them!

Please tell me I'm not the only one suffering with this?!

I thankfully haven't had anything too bad, but yep, mine's far worse. I always thought mine were good before too!

I've being having similar problems with mine and I just couldn't hold my pelvic floor muscles at all. I go to physio now and it has worked wonders. I've only being going 3 weeks and I've noticed a massive difference. No so much with leakage problems yet but I can now actually do pelvic floor exercises and I'm getting better everyday. My gp referred me and it only took a month or so to get the appointment but its really really helpful. They show you how to do them right and get you building them up every week. When the physio tested me they were concerned I had a prolapse but it just turns out they are really weak and every time I tried to do one I'd tence my whole body up and stop breathing. Really not dignified but you get used to that after child birth eh!

Mine are weak still as well but to be honest I've only bee doing the odd exercise here and there during the day...not done a whole session.

I still feel the need to go and can make it to the loo without any accidents but once I've started I can only lesson the flow I can't stop it completely
However I have a massive problem with gas  :wall: I just seem to be full of it since giving birth and really struggle to keep it in. A lot of the time I don't know that I've got any until I feel a sudden pressure in my bum and it just 'pops out' which is really embarrassing when it happens several times a day

AFTER my daughter's first birthday- i was running thru town feeling all smug because i wasnt out of breath i was thinking "ooh i'm still quite fit i am" and suddenly a little bit of wee squirted out- i was UTTERLY MORTIFIED!   :( :( :(

i am only little and had a 35cm-head-circ baby, my pelvic floor muscles are def not what they once were :(

i'm always forgetting to do the exercises tho
