Wdyt of baby name George

Hi, We re expecting #4 in only about 2 weeks time now. We currently like two names, if it s a boy they are George Nathaniel, or Thomas Nathaniel. Dh prefers Thomas to George, but I really love George. What do you think> Our other boys names are Alexander, Ben and Jack.

I really like Geoege but we had to rule it out after the royal baby as didn't want people to think we copied!

Silly reason really though, I think George Nathaniel is lovely xx

I love both George and Thomas. Out of the two I'd probably say I prefer the name Thomas more, not sure why. But I love traditional names x

My second youngest nephew is a George (he is a bit older than the Royal baby though)

Thankyou, yes i also love the traditional names as well. That's why we re having trouble choosing between the two, they are both lovely. Where i live we don't really have that many George s that i know of, i don't know if it will become more popular now after Prince George. If it s a girl, which it could be as we didn't find out the gender this time, she will be Rose Charlotte. x

Both good strong names, and both go well with with your other kids names.

My dad's name is George, and I have a nephew named Thomas Alexander, another nephew called Ben and my son is Jack.

George is my cats name. I picked it because I never thought I would have a human! But if id done it the other way round I would defo of had George on the list. Its a cute but strong and confident name. The royals have good taste. Thomas was on my boys list too but I like George better.

Personally because of the royals I wouldn't pick George there are lots here, but love Thomas! x

I love traditional names too! My boys are Jack & Harry

I have a Nephew called George. I prefer George to Thomas but I do like Tom as a name on it's own x

Thankyou so much for youre thoughts on our choice of names. I think we ll have to wait and see if it s a boy or girl. Both those names, Thomas and George are very nice, and I think both suit our other names. It doesn't really bother me too much about how popular it is, as my other boys names are quite popular ones as well, but we love them.

Yes it seems like we do have similar taste, Charlotte is a pretty name x

I prefer George but I think it's going to be really popular now due to the royal baby but if that doesn't bother you then go for it.
