water sample...

Got a call today from my GP surgery saying the water sample id done needed redoing, when i asked why the reply i got was "oh sometimes they come back like that"!!

Like what??? I know i should have asked but ws in the middle of a kids birthday party at the time, didnt think, so now im a bit worried, first off i thought the only sample id done was to confirm pregnancy and that cant be wrong ( 7 BFP's!!)

Then remembered i did a Strep B water sample when i saw midwife, so thinking its that and now worried incase i have it, i know its ok til i go into labour and they would give me anti - b's but im still concerned,

Anyone else had this early on? xxxx

I bet it's something daft like They've dropped it. Honestly, if it was something to worry about they'd tell you x

Hi, my cousin had the same call saying she needed to redo one and it was because the bottle she had wee'd in to wasnt clean so they werent getting accurate results or something. probably something as silly as that, try not to worry she def would have told you if there was an issue xx

Ok so i didnt get to gp to do another sample but yesterday got a letter from hospital saying they "think" i might have an infection and to see my gp, so thinking ill go to gp tomorrow and ask to see him anyway? or do you think they might make me do another sample? x

Hi hun, if you have a sample bottle at home id do one and take it any way. He will most likey ask you for one so best to be prepared. Hope everything goes ok, sure it will be fine xx

Thanks Charile, went to get my bottle today then gets a call from the surgery this afternoon (before id had a chance to take sapmle back in) saying gp had left a script for me for Anti ~ b's anyway!

So ive got them and started taking them , after having to check with the pharmacist if they were safe for me to take cos the gp's receptionist didnt know,

Gonna take another sample in tomorrow anyway xx
