Water Infection & No AF

Me again....
Went to the Drs today as I'm now a week late! Took a test with her and it was negative however she did say I have a urine infection and if my period doesn't come in a week or two then to go back for bloods.... My thought is, could I possibly still be carrying but the tests are coming out negative due to my infection? grasping at straws I know!!! X
