Hello ladies, this may seem a bit odd but I keep being told I need to change my washing powder because my baby's skin is going to be very sensitive, the only trouble is the ones people have recommended are very expensive, I currently use a liquid from Aldi which I really like so I was just wondering do I need to swap or is it personal preference and what types of powders and liquid do you all use xx

Just make sure it's non-bio. You can still use Aldi's non-bio and maybe go easy on the fabric softener to begin with (even if you use one that says it's ok for babies). X

Not sure if this post is of use but I went past fabric softner isle in asda and it had little angels sign at a bit of it maybe have a wee look in supermarket up and down the isle see if you can see a sensitive 1 for babies xx

Any non bio is fine

I use fairy and comfort fabric softener. I'm not a fan of cheap powders etc - but I know many people who use cheaper branded non bio and their kids are fine :)

Aslong as its non bio itll be grand. Most supermarkets will have theyre own brand of non bio so im sure you could find the same brand as you use now but just change it to non bio?
I understand what you mean about the price! We are using fairy It was on offer when we bought it tho so just keep an eye out :) x

Tesco own brand non bio smells lovely actually. . . I couldn't resist adding a little bit of comfort to my baby washes- It smells too good!

I usually use aldi non-bio, so cheap! Me DS and hubby all have eczema and this stuff is fine doesn't cause any irritation, so I wouldn't bother :)

The only thing I've found is I don't think it makes the clothes smell quite as nice as branded products, so I must admit I've bought some fairy non bio and comfort pure just to do all the baby's newborn clothes in :) xx
