Was the nub theory right for you?

So I've had my 12+5 scan today and the nub clearly shows boy according to the theory... was it right for you?

I don't know if I can see the nub theory on these, but then I still aren't great on how it all works! I wouldve actually guessed girl I think! Oops!

No, it wasn't right for me. I was convinced after my 12 week scan from looking at the nub and skull that I was expecting another boy, but I had a 16 week gender scan last week and I'm definitely expecting a little girl

Yes I think boy although tricky as the spine is quite curved do it may be running parallel even though it looks like it's going up...

I put my 12 week scan pic on a nub theory fb page and everyone guessed girl and sure enough I had a girl.

Your nub clearly looks boy very obvious stacking they've guessed boy on mine so we'all see when baby's born if they're right x

I don't really understand the nub or skull theories very well but those who commented on my 12 week scan all said boy and they were right

On here more or less everyone thought girl for my first. He was a boy. Second time was easier as they were similar.

Nub was alot more visible on my first though and people still says girl.

I opted for 16w on the day exactly scan to find out gender with the second. Which was correct.

Oh my god look at this email! I sent my scan pics to the gender experts to find out what they think. I asked for skull and nub theory.... they've said no nub is visible?!?

To be honest I'm never sure if I'm looking at nubs, parts of legs or cord. It's so confusing. They do say boys have a squarer forehead and girls have rounded ones. My 12 week scan pic showed a squarer forehead though so I'm not sure how accurate it is though as I'm def having a girl. Another theory is the heartbeat per minute - under 140 bpm is supposedly a boy and over is a girl. That was wrong for me too though as at my 15 week mw app she has noted it as 137bpm, which would in theory make baby a boy.

Only based on the fact that your scan pic is totally different form my DD's, I'd say a boy x
