ure little one started to sit up on there own?

and also silly question seein as i worked with children for 5 years lol but how do they learn to sit up? because ryan just lays on the floor really or in his bouncy chair??

If I sit her uo she can sit unaided, but that only started last week. She never bothered with rolling though  did a few times then never bothered again lol

Bout 4months 3 weeks lil miss could sit unaided for a while if you put her in that position. she's nearly 6 months now... and can sit and play unaided for ages... give her another 2 weeks and she will be able to put herself into the sitting position as she is almost there now... :D

Evie has been sitting up unaided for about a week now. You have to put her in the sitting position and then she's fine for ages. She can turn around and she's able to put her hand out to steady herself but she can't get herself into the sitting position as yet! watch this space...i'm sure it won't be long!

Thanks for ure replies. I just cant believe that maybe in just a month he will be able to sit up!!! it just amazes me how quickly they learn things and i keep thinking he's no where near sitting up so i just keep thinking it will be months before he can do it! sounds silly lol

Grace and Joe were both around the same time, I'd say 4 and a half months.

Grace is practically walking now!

it'll be fab little pip, thats when the fun really starts, toy playing etc

teds can sit.. but tends to want to eat his toes..and still flops backwards.. or to the side.. and hes 6 1/2 months now.. lazy boys lol..

Between 6/7 months my DD sat up, but she didnt just do it as people expect them too.

Spend a few minutes every day sitting on the follr with him, your back against the wall, his back too you and just put some toys in front of him and just keep him supported and as you keep doing this he will get stronger and stronger.

This was the adice my hv gave me and it worked a treat for us.
