hi ladies

pls help me my daughter is nearly 17 months and still not walking she walks along the sofa,

is she 'normal'? a late developer? or just lazy? lol

I have heard of plenty of babies start walking at 18 months old, so dont worry to much. If your concerned she isnt going to walk anytime soon then speak to the health visitor and see what she suggests.

Hiya,
My daughter walked at 18 months and my son at 17 months. One day she just got up in the middle of the floor and walked. Just like that.

I hope she does it soon

My older brother was 18 months before he started walking, my other brother was walking at 10 months.

Hi

My friends son didn't start walking untill he was nearly 20 months, he would just walk around the furniture or crawl! He was a leat crawler too! Once he started walking that was it he was off and you wouldn't have even guessed that he had just started walking!

Its understandable to be worried, my friend was. Unfortunatly her health visitor wasn't very symperhetic, she told her that there was tests they coud do but getting putting them off!

If you are worried ask ur health visitor to carry out some tests to put ur mind at rest!

Im its just a confidence thing and that she will do it in her own time
