Whenever Aimee wakes up she starts crying stright away. Diesn't matter if it in the morning or after her nap she just starts screaming. Jess used to do the same till she was about 3. Just wondered if anyone elses LO does this cos i find it really annoying. Why can't she ever wake in a good mood?

yes even though Louie is younger than Aimee he always wakes up crying, but never wakes crying 1st thing in the morning which is strange

my other boy Josh used to do this too, i don't think there is anything we can do to stop it either, i think they just grow out of it when they are older (we hope)

Braydon wakes up screaming from his nap all the time but from the nite he is ok

Just my kids that are grumpy all the time then!Lol

Alex screams whenever he wakes up in his cot (he won't even go in it for a nap). Daniel and Charlotte were the same, and only improved once they went into a bed - we have a bed ready for Alex when we move.

Is Aimee still sleeping through? After our initial success, we got up to 4 / 5 hours of controlled crying for 5 nights and have now given up :( .

Although Aimee is a LOT better than she was, she still isn't sleeping through. She was waking at least every hour but now she wakes maybe once or twice on a good night. Don't even want to talk about the bad nights! We have to go into her now as soon as she starts crying cos shes waking Nathan up.

:(

So is Ewan usually once or twice.
... he always wakes up crying unless he sees us in the room and he will be ok - generally.

yeah Braydon is the same he has slept thro 3 times in 17 months lol he was better as a newborn (still didnt go thro tho)

May be we should start the toddler no sleep club!

Charlie does the exact same thing, he used to be so good when he woke up and play in his cot for ages until i was ready to get him now he just wakes up so upset :(

I'm hoping it's down to teething and that it'll stop eventually but if you do have any ideas I'd be glad to hear them too :D
