vvv confused?!?!

Not sure whats going on with me at the mo! I ovulated last sunday and af is due next sun but today ive had shooting pains and lots of ewcm?!? i have done a test and got bfn then did an ov test and got a very faint line?? ttc is so confusing its only our first month so perhaps im just noticing things more but can you ov x2??

Hiya hon,

I think the only time you can OV twice in a month is within 24 hours... It could be that one of your tests is a false +ve though? I got a +ve last cycle, was convinced I was in the 2WW and then actually OV'd 2 weeks later. I would say that if the signs are there now, get BDing just in case...x

OPK's are only positive if the second line is as dark or darker than the control line - just checking as in your first post you mentioned that you got a faint line, which means its negative. It's a shame somebody can't come up with an ov test where you only get two lines if its positive (like a HPT) for us POAS addicts cos its so damn confusing knowing what is and isn't a + OPK. Can you post a pic at all?

I SO agree with you...OPK's are a nightmare, Ive used them this month but im never 100% certain about them! They really should invent something simpler, that is just as cheap!

I've decided this month not to use them cos I just end up getting upset when I think I'm close to ov so do a test only to find its negative. So this month, I'm just gonna check CM and go with how I feel........ oh and lots of BDing

I havent kept the im afraid but as you said the first one was strong as the main line and this one is about half as strong so perhaps thats where ive got confused!! is it just me who thinks ttc is so complicated? or were just making it more complicated for ourelves? its only my first month and i dread to think what ill be like after a few!! get a grip woman
