Very painful pelvic pains

Hi Ladies,

For the past 3 weeks, I have been getting very sore pains very low down in my pelvic area. They only last a few seconds at a time but recently are becoming more frequent and more powerful. I remember having kind of similar pains when in early stages of labour with first child but the midwife says it sounds more like ligament pains. Has anyone else been getting these? I keep thinking I am maybe going into labour but then nothing!

Sounds like baby grinding his ir her head in your pelvis to me. Is baby engaged? It takes my breath away when she does it to me but unfortunately it doesn't turn into any constructive pains!

Ive been getting these pains since Christmas eve. My LO wasn't engaged 2 weeks ago when i last saw my MW but im pretty sure he is now.
The pains almost make my knees give way if im standing or walking and are usually accompanied by strong BH.
when i get them i start willing my LO to keep pushing down to get things started.
