Hi Ladies!

So I've been struggling with TTC for 2 years now with no luck. I have never been pregnant and my partner has a normal sperm count. I've had my tubes and uterus checked and had no issues! All roads lead to stress at this point.

I have always been pretty irregular with my periods especially when I'm highly stressed and anxious. But I have never gone through what I'm going through now. The last time I had a normal period was in March 2018. I started spotting on August 18th and this gradually increased to a heavy period as of Aug 23rd.
Have any of you experienced this before?

I guess I don't know what it feels to have a normal period anymore but these just seems a little extreme. Cramps are very minor by the way, but I am passing clots, not huge but a little bigger than usual I would say.

Please help me, any advice would truly help ease this anxiety.:wall2:

I think if you haven’t had a period since March you should expect this one to be a little more mean than normal. I hadn’t had a normal one from April and this one wasn’t particularly cruel.

Unless you are losing an insane amount of blood I wouldn’t be too worried about it

Hello! I'm in a similar situation however although my periods are irregular, I get one every month but I wanted to reach out because me and My partner have been TTC for 18 months - his semen test came back perfect and all blood tests etc for me have came back fine. I'm due to have a Gaenacologist appointment in the next 6 month's where they'll do further tests - probably the same as what you have had. I was wondering whether you discussed the possibility of IVF with your doctor/specialist as yet? In the UK people can be referred if they have been trying for over 2 years I believe so not sure if you have talked about the possibility of this?
I wish you the best of luck, happy to keep in touch if you like :)

If your thinking stress and anxiety are making things more difficult try meditation also mindfulness for health body scan meditation is a very useful one but it needs to be done every day xxx

Have you thought about trying fertility reflexology? It really made a difference to my long cycles and I found it incredibly relaxing too so might help with your stress

Sorry to hear you’re having such a difficult time. I also think my ‘unexplained infertility’ is stress-related. Yoga helps me and saying No a lot (sounds simple but it’s taken me years to master and put myself first).

Have you tried acupuncture to help regulate your cycle? I’ve not long started acupuncture, not for cycle regularity but I hear that it’s very good for that.
