Valentine's Day Ideas...

Hey Ladies...

As Valentine's day approaches, I was wondering if anyone had any plans or ideas they could share for presents or gestures on a budget? It's expensive enough preparing for a new baby/raising a family, and just thought it would be a good idea if we could share any ideas for gifts etc that wouldn't break the bank

And I have to be honest in saying that I'm at a loss at what to do for my OH who is fussy about what he wears, be it clothes or jewellery, or eating out x

We never go out on valentines day as I think they bump all the prices and you get a standard set menu. I think it's much nicer to cook a lovely meal at home and snuggle up together and watch a film or something together. To be honest we don't really do pressies at valentines day either - just a nice card and some quality time together. Certainly will be saving the pennies this year xx

We'll probably get a bottle of wine and a Chinese on the Sunday as a treat. OH works nightshift so will be at work on Valentine's.
We normally save some pennies by just buying a card for each other.

Save money by not buying into a hallmark shit-flogging festival and do something nice for your OH another time.
