vaginal birth after a c section

Anyone done this? How quick did you get home?

My consultant is now thinking there is a good chance i will go to term and says i should at least try to have a vaginal birth. He likened chooseing a c section to being told you have a slight toothache and removing all your teeth instead of just gettinga filling

Now I'm all scared as I was told from the start I would have a c-section and knew what to expect from this.

hi emma, from ur post it sounds like u dont want a vbac. dont feel forced into it- go for it if u want but speak up about it if u really dont want 2. x

my sister had one a few weeks ago - she delivered at around midnight and came home at 10.30 the next morning. She loved it as she felt well again within a short time (ie hours) as compared to her CS - but do what you're happy with - talk to your mw if you're worried
