My OH is rubbish when it comes to choosing a name for our little lady. We have 2 boys, and I thought this one would be too, so I had loads of names for boys, but we found out on Friday that he's a she!! So now every name I suggest my partner says no "I don't really like it" but I just don't think he's listening!! I really like Sydney, which he did in the beginning, but now he's changed his mind, I think I'm going to push for it though!! So uughhhh to men and their fickle minds!!!

My sis is going through the same, she is having a girl and every name she suggests her OH rules out.
Her DD from previous relationship is 'evie' and he thinks that's an 'exotic' name!!??

We had decided on Hannah if it was girl, that was it, we didn't even argue about it lol. We just both loved the name... then we found out we were having a boy and we can't agree on anything! everything I suggest he pulls his face at and he doesn't suggest anything

I must admit though I'm not so keen on Sydney, sorry! If you love it though go for it I'm sure he'll come around if you insist enough x

Well I don't realllly love Sydney, but I do like it, but I've not heard anything I like much better, Evie is definitely not exotic, men are a funny breed aren't they!! I want a name that's different but not weird!! X

I think girls names are much harder to choose than boys, I have 3 boys and one girl, and still have a long list of lovely boys names I would like to use, and only hoping for one more baby, but only have two girls names picked... but thats a hige inprovement on last time..

I feel your pain!!! There's a name we liked from the start for her and although i still love it, i want to shop around as such! However he's no use and just shrugs. Soooooo annoying x

Ooh verity Elizabeth is lovely. I've only ever known of one baby verify and that's when I was about 12 (so more than a couple of years ago )
