Was talking about this just now with a friend on MSN so thought I'd share :)

When my kids were little, from about 8 months plus, I used to sit on the sofa with my legs outstretched, and sit them on my shins holding their hands and then lift my legs up and down keeping them straight.

It really works the stomach muscles and legs, just make sure your back is straight :)

Great fun for the kids too!
 
lol im always hoisting melissa about under one arm and i carry her up and down stairs god knows how many times a day- she weighs over 18 pounds now its no wonder my arms and legs are like greyhounds'!

This is Kiaras favourite thing to do one day i just did it for fun then shes like more more more , i nearly died it hurts after a while :lol:
