urine samples!

doctors surgery just rang and asked me to re-submit my urine sample taken at last midwife appoint 2 weeks ago, it will be the third time! its driving me mad! any tips on getting the best sample so it doesnt come back again?

i'd say mid day sample would be best and drink loads in the morning, why do they want you to re submit it? surely al they have to do is dip stick it

there was a trace of blood in it at the midwife appointment so she sent it off, it came back with a sign of infection so they wanted to retest it, the next time it came back unclear so had to retest and now this is the third time to retest! driving me bonkers! i got to do another one next week for my 28 wk midwife appointment!

Best is to get it from the middle of your wee and to catch it in something other than the tube so that it doesnt touch your skin (if you were trying to catch it) Just make sure the jug etc you use is squeeky clean
