urgent replies needed

Hi all

My friend is 32 weeks pregnant and she has asked me to ask this question as she has no access to the internet.

she is going for her hospital visit tomorrow (wednesday). This is the only form of antenatal that she is having (first baby), what sort of questions should she be asking.

- Do they have a birthing pool (if she is interested?)
- What type of epidural they give (I only found out on arrival that my hospital only gave the type that completely numbs your legs NOT the mobile type which I had originally wanted)
- How long will they want her to stay in for after the birth
- How many other people will be on the ward (when I was first taken in I was on a ward of 6 people until labour was 'established' i.e. until i was about 5cm dilated)
- What does the hospital provide for the baby i.e. how many sleepsuits you will need to take with you, and nappies, etc
Umm can't think of any others at the moment, hope this helps... wish her good luck from me
