Up all night

Little Libby is now 8 days old and is a serious party animal at night, last night was the third night in a row where she has just fed constantly and not slept until 5-6am this morning I'm running on fumes!
She starts cluster feeding from about 4pm and it just carries on through the night

Please tell me it calms down soon *yawn*

Oh I know, I felt like I was the only one who couldnt manage and was getting upset about being up all night!

For the first 5 days of her life, Molly slept most of the day (hardly fed at all), but fed constantly from midnight to 5am! It was crazy- I was in hospital after difficult birth, and just kept thinking how ridiculous it was that the midwives were telling me to rest!!

It gets better, I promise- Molly is now 14weeks, and has been sleeping through the night for 3 weeks. You'll start seeing the weight go on her and off you, and it will all be worth it. I still feel very smug and clever every time I have her weighed, that I am entirely responsible for it.

Not sure if everything clicked last night or leaving the radio on low with the light on the lowest setting worked but either way we went from 10 till 12.30 then 1.30 5.30 then down again till about 8.30 happy mummy this morning

Glad it is settling Hun, it's bloomin tough at the start but it does get easier I promise, hang in there and just be aware of growth spurts causing more feeding xx
