Really sorry about the topic on this one :talkhand:

Every time Sam has a poo at the moment it ends up everywhere. I have tried different brands of nappies and they're all the same. None of them seem to be able to cope with holding it all in.

Last week we went into town and he did one that bad i ended up having to buy him a new outfit (it was the one day i forgot to put clean clothes in his change bag Typical!!!)

What can i do anything????? Could it be related to teething?

Do you pull the nappy around his leg once it is on... as in do you ensure that it is fitted correctly by running your finger around the inside of the leg... this is hard to explain lol!

We had this issue til we started using Pampers Baby Dry and since then  we have not had any accidents. http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... ogId=11051

Galen went through about a week, 10 days of doing masses of poos and masses in each nappy. He'd fill one and then some. Ours held up pretty much thankfully. We do what Debbie said, make sure we pull the elastic bit so it fits wider and better.

The other thing we do is go into the next size up sooner rather than later. Galen is 17lb plus now and next size up nappies go from 15lb-40 or some such. So we moved him over to those already rather than wait for him to hit 20lb and be out of the 9-20lb ones. If that makes sense. They cover up his back a bit higher and are not so snug on him. Less escapes in the larger ones

Debbie - I do the thing with making sure the nappy is on correctly by making sure the elastic is on right IKWYM :D

Sherlock - I will try him with the next size up nappies that might do the trick I hope

I'm beginning to dread the nappy change now I never know how horrific it's going to be :puke:

We went throught a phase when vests had to be burned! lol :rotfl:

Started using Pampers baby dry - no problems since. And I agree with Sherlock - try to use bigger size nappy (but not too big. For example we always used the ones where starting weight was closer to him, for example when he was 9lbs we were using 9 to 20lbs, when 20lbs we are using something like 20 to 30lbs)

We mostly use pampers baby dry and huggies and have never once had any leaks.
