Yes, and the doctor told us to dtd every other day from day 9 to day 17, so no amount of monitoring is going to make us more likely to ‘catch the egg’! The sperm and egg are probably meeting but then its either not penetrating or the egg isn’t dividing. If we’ve got more eggs to work with, that might help!

Hi Blueflower - I guess you mean confirmed NK cells? Or something else? Anyway just wanted to pop in and say hi hope all ok. We have been carrying on au naturelle so to speak with nothing to report. Have just hit the 2 year mark and going to make an appointment in Jan for some help. I will definitely ask about full testing before we try anything though. It really bugs me that women are pushed towards IVF etc when it is possible to test further though I guess it depends on the clinic.

Yes the NK cells. It would be good if they are the cause and can be treated. Our clinic only dies further testing after 2 failed IVFs, apparently because it works for most people on the 2nd go. Good luck!

Hi blue flower

I definitely think there could be a psychological factor. We have sub fertility and I think a part of our issue is my mind!! I have had 7 hypnotherapy sessions and they really helped! Still no bfp but I am soooo much stronger and better in my self!! The hypnotherapist said we can build up blocks in our sub conscious and hypnotherapy helps to break them down. It is the only thing that has helped me to relax, I can not recommend it enough - it really saved me and has helped keep me sane!!

I agree the worst thing is having nothing specific, nothing to work on as such. If ivf fails for us we are going to look at adoption. I just pray ivf works and that I can keep calm in the 2 ww!!
