I have had an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidsim) for years and it has just occured to me that, because I'm taking 200mg thyroxine daily, I may not be able to breastfeed.
Does anybody know if it's okay to breastfeed whilst on thyroid meds? I'm seeing my midwife on monday so I will ask her, but I thought I'd ask on here in the meantime.
