The only reason I can think of that someone would buy broken striaghteners is if they have the same product under guarentee. Take the broken straighteners back to the shop with their reciept, then Hey Presto, a Brand New pair which can be sold on for £80+, meaning they will actually end up around £60 in profit.
....Maybe its them who are on to something! lol
