Umbilical stump

Orlando's stump fell off last night and I cleaned it all but i don't wanna rub too hard and some of the dried blood won't come off :-/ what did u guys do? Don't wanna make it sore

id just keep bathing it with warm water it will eventually come off!! xx

Just give it a gentle wipe with cotton wool & water every day & eventually the dried blood ect will go away.

Make sure his clothes ect dont irritate it too much - i'd aviod trousers for a few days & stick to baby grows!!

we found that folding the top of her nappy down stopped it rubbing quite so much. As the others have said just warm water and cotton wool. It will come off eventually hope he's ok, seen the piccys he's sooo cute!!

It will clear with warm water and cotton wool. Grace has a little dry blood still there but I'm hoping after her bath tonight it will be the last of it xxx
