Ultrasound ok!

Hi Girls,

I had my ultrasound yesterday and all was ok, the thickness of my womb was good and there was a mature follicle about to pop!

I'm not TTC I don't think this month as I have a Colposcopy next Thursday so best not to get preggers!

May just wait for Clomid...

Just need to get my colposcopy out of the way and I can get trying again.

Louise B, I think they are gonna give me Clomid anyway, I did question them on why when I know I'm OVing but they said not only does it help with OV it boosts all your hormones in your cycle, and should help bring my OV forward so I have a longer luteal phase.

I'll probably be the one that ends up with twins and it will serve me right for not being more patient and letting nature take it's course, I know deep down being on Dianette for 10 years has fucked me up, and my cycles are still getting back to normal, I've gone from 39, 38, 38, 38, 38, 30, 32, 30, 28, and probably 28 again this month but OV is still late in my cycle though, CD 18 this time.

I'm off to a bit of research on Clomid now, let's see what I find....

How are you getting on? I'm just catching up after the weekend..

A 28 cycle is good and i think i probably OV around cd 16/17 so not far off cd18 - didn't think it was too bad, but i can understand them investigating it further with your history.

Have you asked them about aspirin? Are you taking it?

It was only recently that i heard on the radio that it is advised to prescribe it to everyone to prevent all kind of nasties - plus the link to reducing m/c too.

I'm doing alright thanks - i was really happy, then really sad and now i'm just really deflated but i'm hoping i'll start feeling a bit better soon once i manage to pull some positives to my situation out of the slurry of putrid filth it is at the moment

Hey Girls,

Yep, I tried Aspirin Louise and they told me to stop as it can stop you OVing, but they did say that if I was pregnant again to let them know and then they would give it to me.

Princess, I thought the same about Clomid, I'm doing some research now as another thing they told me is that you can get a biochemical pregnancy and faint lines on tests even before implantation, I thought HCG was only produced after implantation?? Mmm I'm gonna research that too! I hope they know what they're doing!?

I was talking to my friend/botox guy who's a GP and he told me that the best fertility Doctor in the country is at the Manchester Royal Infirmary, so I'll see what I can find out about what the other hospital has told me and I could transfer docs if they are not advising me correctly?
