So after 2 lots of bloods-results not ovulating. I had my external and internal ultrasound today. Apparently everything looks perfect no pcos.
I have a hsg test this month too, I'm feeling a bit more positive as I feel as though I'm getting answers.
Just wondered if anyone else has been here or is about to be, is it as awful as I've heard and what happens if my tubes are blocked is Clomid still an option?
Thanks in advance xx

I've no experience with clomid but hopefully someone else can answer your question.

The hsg test itself isn't that bad, or at least I didn't think so. It was uncomfortable for like just a min or 2 but it was over so so fast. Worth it to see if something's up. Hope it goes well x

I have had 2 hsgs a few years apart. I didn't find it painful at all. Take some painkillers half hour or so before you go in. I found it a little achey but not painful. I think it is more painful if tubes are blocked.
If tubes were blocked you wouldn't be able to have clomid as the egg wouldn't be able to travel through tubes so would be pointless. The next step would likely be IVF in that case.
I think the HSG can help clear some small blockages, they said it can clear away the cobwebs. Lots of luck xx

My HSG wasn't too bad, about 4 seconds of cringing pain before it's quickly over. I did have light bleeding for about 6 days though, but I was advised that it's completely normal. My tubes were fine, but If they're blocked I've heard it's more painful due to the pressure. I would definitely recommend the HSG though if it means you're closer to finding out what's going on in your body. No idea a about Clomid sorry x
