I know some herbs are not advised due to risk of MC. I have fruit Infusions downstairs and am craving a cranberry and orange one... but wasn't sure if i was allowed to drink it. Theres nothing much online about the fruit ones just normal herb ones. Anyone got any ideas? xxx

The only time I have heard of cranberry being bad is if you are on warfarin to thin the blood xxxxxxxxx

i think they should be fine hun, when i found out i was preg and got my bounty pack from midwife there were 2 free samples in there and i'm guessing if you couldnt have em they wouldnt put them in lol xx

Should be fine Hun

Grapefruit is bad if you have issues with blood pressure x

What herbs can effect mc? I didn't no and am scared now lol xx

I swapped to fruit teas to cut down on caffeine, they are fine. You can have raspberry leaf tea from 32 weeks to help with contractions in labour, supposed to make the second phase shorter so def avoid this one in early pregnancy. I think you have to avoid echinacea as well.

A good herbalist website will tell you what to avoid hun, just make sure they are accredited to a governing body and you know you'll get the right info xxxxxxxxxxxx if you are ever in doubt, like you think you've heard somewhere before not to take something then stay away from it til you can get the facts

Okay thanks hun ill have a look see what I can find out. Feel like I need to go in a plastic bubble and not eat or drink anything all seems so dangerous lol xxx

What herbs cant we have? Think i walk about with my eyes closed sometimes. Your right everything is so dangerous :( xx

ive been drinking the mint and summer fruit kind of ones and theyre fine and dandy. also lemon and ginger tea can help morning sickness and honey adds a nice sweetness to any teas.
