:DDoes anyone have a recommendation for a twin travel system?
I saw the bugaboo donkey duo in John Lewis (I won't be buying from there!) and it is as wide as a ferry and I have no idea how they say it will fit through a door.
I think we are after a side by side system which I know means they are wider but I just am not keen on the other systems with one on top of the other as I'd like to be able to see both babies and when they are bigger it's a bit pants for one having to look at the seat of the other.
Also saw the my child easy twin online but nowhere around here has one I can go to view, it looks narrower.

Such a minefield. Anyone got any gem of a recommendation that I haven't seen...?

Hey, congrats on the twin news! My sister has twins and she bought the bugaboo donkey2 (this was in 2015) and she has really loved it and not had any problems with it. My nephews will be 4 in May and she still uses it! I do remember it was very expensive though!
It is wide, but she wanted a side by side to, I don’t think she’s had any major problems with getting it in and out of shops etc
Hope this helps xxx

Radley how are you???
Ive been researching this loads as like to be organised. We got it down to the bugaboo donkey and mountain buggy duet.
I think the mountain buggy is almost 10cm slimmer than the donkey but it is heavier.

We are ordering the donkey after the 20 week scan as we were told that if somewhere is wheelchair accessible it will fit. I also like the fact you can make it sinlge if you want so they can share a carrycot at first or one can can in a sling and one in the buggy.

Hey @Emmacharlotte
I'm OK thank you. Still suffering with the nausea, worst in mornings and evenings but feels like I've defintely turned a corner as I'm able to eat a little more these days and drink. I'm still put off by loads of foods though and large meals make my stomach turn so still on little and often.

I saw the donkey duo and it's really wide. Then saw the mountain duo one online and it looks to be the narrowest I think? There is a place not far from here so I think we will go have a look in a couple of weeks and see what's what. DH sold his car this week (we both have old crap cars but his was worse) so looking to get a newer bigger car in the next week or two which can fit so much in the boot.

As for wheelchair accessible, I'm thinking if it will fit through my front door. We don't have side access to our house and going in and out of the garage will be a right pain.

Had a look at a couple of cots today in ikea and cot beds. Still not sure what to get for that either but will defo be looking second hand and get new mattresses. SIL is primed to sew blankets and anything for the nursery so that's all good!

My son will have just turned 2 when this baby is born and I'm considering getting the Hamilton Turnberry side by side twin. The one hand fold and fact that it is light weight really attract me to it as my single buggy is a 1 hand fold and I swear by it. I just wish I could see it in person first before ordering as I'm worried about the width and getting it through doors x
