I had a missed miscarriage with twins at almost 8 weeks and had a d&c. I bled for about two weeks and that subsided thereafter. It was a very depressing time. Soon, my hubby and I got together, not actively TTC (did the withdrawal method). I thought I was finally moving on. Four more weeks pass, and still no AF. Talked to my Ob, recommended hcg testing, first one at almost 6 weeks since d&c at 240, then a few days later, at 210. He says it's hard to say if it's hcg from original pregnancy or from early new pregnancy, which saddens me if I got pregnant (hard to believe even after withdrawal method though i know it's not reliable) and possibly miscarrying again. Feels nightmare isn't ending as I continue to wait for my body to recover. I know maybe my hog levels were probably very high from twin pregnancy. My cycles were usually short, about 28d before getting pregnant. Now it's just a nasty horrible waiting game. Next hcg test in a few days before Ob considering imaging if no progress.
