Tummy measurements!

Hi ladies I'm 25 weeks tomorrow and never had any measurements taken of my tummy, iv not been weighted since my booking in appointment at 5weeks... Is this normal? I had an appointment at 16weeks, 22weeks and next one will be 28 weeks... My sister in law was asking me what I was measuring and I didn't know...?!?! Has anyone been measured or does this happen later on?!?x

I got measured at 16,18 and 20 weeks but maybe in your area you only get measured at 28? If you want to do it ourself just take a tape measure from your pubic bone to the top of your bump xx

My midwife only measured my bump at my last appointment which was 28 weeks. Although at the other ones she has checked and said all seems to be growing well. Don't think the bump measurements really mean anything until later on in pregnancy. As far as being weighed they only do a bookin in weigh in now as mums were getting too anxious about weigh ins and not eating properly. Xx

I didn't start getting measured til 28 weeks

I think by the sound of things they just started measuring me early cos I was showing early! I remember the midwife saying they don't normally measure at 16 weeks, but she just had a wee go anyway. At my 20 week appointment (which was actually at 22 weeks due to changes in appointments!!) I was measuring a week ahead she said. They'll maybe be keeping an extra eye on me because of that?
Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much, every region does it differently xx

It was either 26 weeks or 28 weeks when they first measured me so dnt worry too muchx

I was only measured at 25 weeks (last week) . Think it just depends on your area!
