Hey everyone :)
I stopped taking my birth control the first week of January 2018 as we are ttc baby no. 2, I then got my period on the 11th of February for my usual 5 days, then I got another period on the 23rd of February :o that's two periods in the same month..... Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just my body trying to get back on track after being on the pill? Not sure if I should visit the gp or wait and see what happens next month :(

Was the second period the usual 5 days as well? If so, I suspect it is just your body trying to get itself back to normal.

I'm not sure how long it's gonna be yet, I'm on day two now.... It's pretty much like a normal period again just with no symptoms, I usually experience really bad cramps, tiredness, sore boobs but I have no symptoms with the second period just bleeding :(

Sorry just realised it's only 25th now, blaming that on pregnancy brain!

Hopefully it might be implantation bleeding then. x

Thanks so much for your help xxx I think it's a bit too much blood to be implantation bleeding but hopefully its nothing serious :)

I’m in almost the exact same situation. Came of the pill first week of January too.
My first period was slightly earlier than yours but then yesterday I came on again so am now having another period! I’m taking it as just everything settling down. Xx

Yeah I'm hoping that's all that's happening me too.... It's so frustrating though.... Hopefully both of us will be back in track next month, fingers crossed xxxx

It is really frustrating, I know I ovulated as well which makes it more annoying. Fingers crossed things will settle down next month.
When I came off the pill the first time round, I finished taking it mid December and got pregnant in the March. But we hadn’t been trying the whole time. I can’t really remember how my periods were though (6 years ago) although I don’t think they were that regular xx

It's probably just your body getting back into the swing of things after coming off the pill, I wouldn't worry :) Good luck TTC

Thanks so much for all the replies everyone..... I'll see what happens next month, hopefully all will be OK, I did the worst thing and googled it then I started to worry xx

I haven't been on the pill for years, but this happened to me when I came off it. The doc told me then that the first one wasn't a true period and it can take a while for your cycles to sort themselves out - so don't worry just yet!

Thank so much for your reply..... That makes me feel so much better about things.... I just feel all over the place, today the bleeding is alot lighter so I'd say it will be over by tomorrow so it only lated 4 days, I ordered some clear blue ovulation tests to help me see when I'm ovulating because I have no idea where I am in my cycle now xxx

How are you getting on Emmya? Mine lasted two days and that was it!
Definitely going to do ovulation tests this month to see what’s happening x

It only lasted for 3 days..... I bought some clear blue ovulation tests too, just to help me track ovulation because I'm all over the place now lol so fingers crossed things start to regulate a bit xxx

That’s a good idea!
I decided to start tracking ovulation yesterday, got a blazing one! Posted on another group I’m in and they said to do a hpt, well it turned out to be a bfp!
So hoping the bleeding was maybe implantion?! Excited but worried.
They were really good lines though so keeping my fingered crossed xx

Oh my gosh that's amazing news, I bet you are over the moon :D I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant yet though, I'm 99.9% sure my cycle is just messed up, hopefully I'll get my bfp soon too xxxx

Got my fingers crossed for you!
Hopefully everything will regulate for you now anyway. Probably just your body getting back on track. Hope the ovulation tracking goes well for you. I was getting fed up with seeing no/faint lines everyday but then suddenly I had a blazing one so hope the same happens for you xx
