TTC & PCOS

just been disgnosed with pcos

Anyone here suffer from it? any sucess stories etc to tell?

Iam a success story i was told 10 yrs ago i would never have kids, i now have 2 wonderful kids

I belive the what made me become pregnant was losing alot of weight i tried for 4 yrs to have a baby and never fell, i then went out and lost a shit loads of weight and started trying and fell in 2 months

I have PCO which is the shorter term thing.

And I've been told that if I did have PCOS then Metaformin would help loads.

is pco that it only affects one ovary? because i was told its only the one of mine thats affected by it

yeh see my recent posts , ive just been diagonsed with that and a dermoid tumour / cyst , its caused massive weight gain and mood swings for me , plus more spots then i ever had as a teenager !

I have PSOS but was lucky that Clomid worked for me. I tried Metformin but it made me sick so I stopped it. I'd tried for 5 years to conceive then 5 weeks of taking Clomid and I was pregnant!

You can get it in 1 or both.

I have it in both but more 1 than the other.

I'm being tested for PCOS at the moment. Still not had blood results through yet, probably won't do this year either at this rate . Good luck TTC

Good luck with that. Don't worry if you have it. The trying to loose weight is really hard but don't listen if you're told you won't have children like some are told, including myself as I know loads that have.

My sister does too but is really slim, no kids though but not tried yet.
