TTC mums 2nd time quick, first time ages!

Hope the title made sense!!
Hey TTC's I've been lurking around here for a while

OH really wants another baby, he has since we had Dan, but I've not been ready. Ok for him, he hasn't got to carry and give birth to him/her or be at home with 2 babies
We are more than likely going to start trying after Christmas. The thing is, it took us nearly 2 and half years to conceive Dan. Shall we expect the same amount of time with our second? Did anyone take ages with their first but quickly with their second? Will it now be easier to conceive?

TBH I think its all chance.
Mason was an accident, Brody we tried for for about 5-6 months, I was aiming for my OV days and everything and it seemed to take ages. This one we did it ONCE in that month and caught!

Agree with Urchin, it's all chance.

All we can do is BD in our most fertile times and hope for the best.

We are on our first month of really TTC No.2, will keep you posted as to how many months it takes us to conceive.

I think it's really down to pure chance!! Our first baby was conceived by accident and we were only doing it, perhaps once each weekend - usually after a drunken night out. Our second was conceived on the second month of trying using an ovulation kit. However, we've been trying for a 3rd since may 07 and it hasn't happened yet (conceived on 2nd month but miscarried, and no luck since).

I am a little bit older now I guess (33), and have had problems with an infected finger, plus BF has been under the weather recently. It really depends on your circumstances - patterns don't necessarily follow so you may well be lucky.

I'm going to be TTC #2 after Christmas too! We caught first cycle with Austin so I'm not really sure what to expect second time around.

how exciting!! i'll be joining you a bit later in the year as we getting married in april so will be trying after that. i shall be stalking you with anticipation!!

my mum took 3 years to concieve my brother by the way and a month to concieve me, but i'm sure it is all by chance! at least you know what to do now!!
