TTC #2 after clomid baby

hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience of ttc #2 after using clomid to fall pregnant first time? Could you share your stories please?

I have pcos & we have been ttc #2 for 6 months, we are waiting for an appointment with the fertiliy clinic at the moment. If I remember correctly I was on 150mg of clomid last time, I think they started me on 50mg & upped it twice.

I haven’t I’m afraid, I’m just about to start my first cycle of clomid as I also have pcos. Im pleased to see someone has conceived with clomid.

I have a history of cps so we are just doing a few investigations to check there isn’t an additional reason to pcos for me losing them.

My doctor has told me to take inofolic, it reduces insulin resistance associated with pcos and also increases ovulation in ladies with pcos.

I was sceptical as I thought it might be snake oil but it was dr recommended so I’m gonna give it a go. Might be worth discussing with your doctor?

Thank you for your suggestion, I hadn’t heard of inofolic, I’ll definitely look into that. Which brand did your dr recommend?

Good luck with your first cycle, when do you start? I think it took us 5 or 6 rounds - I’m still amazed it worked. Fx it works quickly for you x

I think you can get different ones elsewhere but I’m sceptical of fakes.

I have my blood tests on the 15th then I’ll go back to the clinic so I’m hoping it will be March time, but then it depends how long my cycles are if I have another 67 day cycle before i start I could be waiting a while!

Have they not suggested giving you provera? That’s what they used with me to bring on af so they could do the bloods.
