  • Hi All,
So I'm recently new on here today and hopefully can spend my journey with you All, although it's complicated.
So I'm 28 in 2 days and my partner is 39 in March. I have an 8 year old son from a previous relationship and my partner has a 23 year old, 22 year old and 15 year old daughters from previous relationship.
Here's my story, my partner dropped the bombshell on Friday night he would like to try for a baby after his operation next month once he has recovered (he is having a mitrofanoff major operation). He thinks he has a low sperm count which I'm hoping not from his medical complications in the past. I'm scared that when he has this operation it will damage things down below because they all cutting his bladder ect and it's all a bit close.
It's came a bit of a shock to be honest, because before he said he didn't want anymore children now his have grown up, don't get me wrong it gutted me because I was always open about the fact id like one more in the future, so for him to drop this bombshell Friday night i was over the moon. I'm just scared it won't happen .
We've never used protection or prevented anything, we both have a really high sex drive and have sex pretty much every day so I'm hoping that seed plants pretty soon.
Has anyone been in a similar scenario and have any advice on boosting sperm count levels?
    Thank you for reading x

Welcome!
I don’t have any advice really as I don’t think my bf has low sperm but what I would say is don’t worry. I’ve found ttc a really stressful journey so don’t over think. Let him recover and when he is feeling better you can always go see your gp and discuss options.
It’s great that yous are both on the same page about having a child so enjoy trying for a while before first xxx
