OK so today decided to try and set up a daytime nap routine to try and get Rowan to sleep longer. He had a bottle in his room and then I put him in his cot and switched on the musical mobile. To be honest we've only ever used the mobile for him to play under so really didnt think it would work but hey presto he's gone from screaming to sleeping. All I have to see now is if it lasts longer than his usual 20 mins

Oh Miracle babe I really hope it works for you - keeping my fingers crossed and typing very quietly so as not to wake him.

good luck hunnt fingerscrossed Alfie is being such a monkey today hes trying to rebel had bad night last night up coughing and teething so hes over tired today and refusing nap times, its hard though once youve cracked it babe stick to it because he may try rebel against it just show whose the toughest he'll soon get the hint

CRAP

Little toe rag slept for 30 mins, guess he's one stubborn little man, but I can't be mad when I go into his room and he's beaming up at me :D

I recently started doing a proper daytime nap routine as well, before he just used to crash out on his playmat.
Now he goes down anytime between 10:30 - 11:30 on a good day he'll sleep for an hour but otherwise it will be only for 30mins, which is better then nothing I guess!
Then the same again around 2pm, it does make a difference though I 'm so glad I've decided to do this rather then just letting him sleep nilly willy!
