Sorry I haven't the foggiest idea what can help

I keep waking too either for the toilet or because I can't get comfy and my bump is starting to get in the way. I used to sleep on my belly and once my head hit the pillow I'd be out for the count till morning. But now I sleep on my side or back I keep tossing and turning.

Can't wait for the next 21 weeks :bored:

Thanks for the reply,

I usually sleep on my side anyways and sometimes wake up on my front. But now evey position is uncomfy.

I end up with a pillow under/across my belly and one across my back!

Poor DP, when he is there and touches me i get real grouchy as i am so irritable.

Its so annoying!

How am i going to cope when i'm in the last tri and look like a bus, :rotfl:

im the same mate - I light 2 lavendar candles before I go to bed (for an hour or 30 min) to help me drift off but I still wake up for the loo loads - some times up to 7-8 times, however I have found if I dont have any fluids after 7pm I only need to pee about 3 times so better than nothing lol

I have this & it is a godsend!

Is really comfy, and no longer wake up with bump ache/ back ache! A little lavender oil on your pillow may help too

Or, place a pillow between your knees ( to keep your knee in line with your hip) this will help a bit, but the big v pillow is great for me as it stops me kind of lulling forward if you know what I mean.

i know what you mean. but i too don't have a clue.... sorry :(

I'm just super uncomfortable and wake up for no reason, usually with a dry throat .

I can't get comfy in bed either, even asked OH to sleep on the floor the other night or in the spare room but he refused

Lavender oil on one of those oil burners might help.

I know what you mean though, I am also having trouble sleeping at the moment.

I can totally sympathise with you hun. I am a terrible sleeper, toss and turn, get up for a wee it seems like every 5 mins. Im hoping it will get better but i very much doubt it. It must be our bodies getting us used to the no sleep when baby comes, lol

I have found since having a pillow under my bump i put my leg over it is much more comfortable....but I not only have to get in a position for my if Dlylan is unhappy with the way i am lying he kicks me till I move LOL...

so sympathies but no real answers either

I can totally sympathise! I've never slept very well but now it's even worse! And now that I'm supposed to sleep on my left side, I want to do anything but! I bought something called a "Dream Genii" and it supports your bump area, has a bit that goes in between your legs (I believe this will be a good thing once we get bigger!) and even a small pillow at the back to stop you from rolling over! Google it and see if it would suit you!?

My latest sleep deprivation tool is a 5 month old puppy who needs to go out to wee in the night! She's very cute and it's even getting me desensitised to poo!
