Travelling abroad with 5 month old

hi all,

Our baby is due in July, and we are looking to go away for a week over xmas.

Can anyone tell me what tends to happen with the transfer from the foreign airport to the hotel as far as babies goes? We are either having a coach or taxi transfer, but what tends to be their alternative to car seats?

Any advice appreciated.

we're going to spain at the end of June so Ky will be 5 months. Ive been told its not the law there that children have to go in a car seat so he'll be sitting on my lap during the hotel transfer. Im not happy about that but the travel agents said they dont provide car seats?
