Hi everyone

This week I have started with tingling and numbness in my right arm and hand and its getting worse. Not really painful as such, just annoying and uncomfortable. Esp when I am trying to do my job!

I am 32 weeks pregnant.

Anyone else getting this?

hi hun i have this and have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel try and get it sorted as soon as possible as mine has just gone from bad to worse :( they have given me splints to wear over night on my hands which apparently should stop it happening in the day but i keep taking them off in my sleep :wall: so am not getting any relief from them at all good luck xxxxxx

Hi, i have this too, its got worse as the weeks have gone on. My fingers in both hands feel slightly numb all the time now and at night im woken up by pain and completely numb hands. My hands also swell up at night. I would mention it to your midwife and ask for the splints. In fact my hands are starting to go numb just typing this!

I am suffering from this as well. I have been given splints to wear which do help but I am finding them slightly uncomfortable and keep taking them off.

My right hand seems to be the worst, my hands tingle and burn and feel like pins and needles, I have problems with grip and my fingers ache and feel stiff. I am worried that I wont be able to hold the baby properley when he is born next week.

My wrists look swollen and they hurt as well. I have suffered with this through all my pregnancies and I am looking forward to it going away soon along with the heartburn :wall:

I have had it previously (not pg related) and the splints did help. Unfortunatley it is common in pregnancy, so I would see your MW.
