Hi all, my 3 mo has slept in his carrycot till now but has outgrown it. I'm now transitioning him to his ikea cot bed which is rather spacious for him. A couple of times he has woken up lying across the bed and even with one of his feet through the bars. I will get him some bumpers to avoid feet through bars but any suggestions to avoid him ending in all sorts of positions and not resting well?

No suggestions as we have a crib which will last a good while longer.

Be careful with bumpers though. They can be hazardous!!

This is gonna sound horrendous...

A broken ankle is a lot better than a suffocated baby.

Please just do your research into bumpers and be quite sure you're happy with having one before you get it.

Don't get me wrong, I had one with DS, so I'm not saying don't get one, but still. Xx
