My little monster is now 13months and has been walking for a few weeks, but is a real climber. I was in the middle of something when she woke from her nap the other day, and it took me 3-5mins to get up to her room, and I found her about to tumble over the top of her cot :shock::shock:
I have no idea how, as she doesn't have any obvious "leg ups" in there, so she must have scrambled up the side.

I feel she's much to young to put in a bed already, but there are limited options in this position I guess!

Has anyone else done it early and any tips?

Not been in that position yet myself im afraid.

But personally if my LO started doing that.. (which I believe he will as hes slightly crazy lol)
Id get a low toddler bed.. and put up sides so he couldn't fall out. I couldn't risk him going tumbling over when im not looking.
Don't see any harm in trying x

My son got out a few times when he was quite young, and I have no idea how. But we held out till he was 2 1/2 before putting him in a bed with a guard. Just cleared his room and put a stair gate across the door. Still no help with the potential for injuries I know. Have you got a cot or a cot bed? This time around (my daughter is 10 months at the moment) we went for a big cot bed with high sides.

We took the side of our cot bed and husband cut a piece of wood same length and screwed it into the bottom holes to form a lip. I then padded it out. It means that if she really wants to get out she can but she won't roll/fall out. She hardly gets out at all as she knows she can.
